District Long-Range Plan 

As required by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, each library district in Pennsylvania must have a five year plan to guide the provision of district services. The Central Pennsylvania Library District Long Range Plan for 2023 - 2028 was developed with input from board members, library directors, and library staff from across the four counties in 2022, and approved at the fall meeting of the District Advisory Council. The Plan was reviewed in 2025 and no updates were proposed due to the delayed state budget.
